Here's How A Bugatti Chiron Advert Was Made Before The Car Even Existed
Last year, special effects firm SLGH was given the task of creating a promotional video for the new Chiron. Since the car didn't actually exist at that point, the company used a Veyron and some CGI trickery to get the job done
Note: this video has since been made private. If a replacement appears, we’ll embed it for your viewing pleasure. But for now, check out our world exclusive passenger ride in a Chiron from earlier this year!
This kind of car CGI trickery reminds us of Mill ‘Blackbird’, a piece of filming equipment we looked at recently. The Blackbird goes one step further than what SLGH did with the Veyron, giving filmakers a platform supposedly able to mimic pretty much any kind of car.
