Sport Auto sent a Porsche 911 GT2 RS and a Lamborghini Huracan around Hockenheim, with one clear winner
If you’re well off enough to be choosing between a Lamborghini Huracan Performante and a Porsche 911 GT2 RS, you’ve a tough decision on your hands. Does the Lamborghini’s incredible 5.2-litre V10 swing it for you? Or is the challenge of taming the 690bhp, rear-wheel drive GT2 RS calling you?
You shouldn’t really base your car buying decision on lap times, but it is worth pointing out that around the Nurburgring, the GT2 RS is faster. Nearly five seconds faster, in fact. But what about at a track like Hockenheim?

Now throw the new ZR1 against them, or even the ZO6 lol
The z06 won’t be faster . The zr1 maybe but no way to know since they’ve not been on the same track
The GT2 may be quicker, but I’d take the Huracan every day for that V10 sound. Not to mention that in the hands of an amateur, the Huracan’s AWD probably makes it quicker.

Yeah, 5 secs on the nurburgring is like 1 second on a normal track
One problem with the article. It gave the impression that anyone in the position to buy a gt2rs would have to choose between it and the performante. As if their budget would be limited to only one. This doesn’t make sense because as far as i know the only ones who got the gt2rs were in the 918 owners club and anyone in there can probably afford both
