The Car Scene In Pakistan
I’ve been going through recent posts of being a petrolhead in certain places like India for example and I don’t expect it making a good image for the adjacent areas. Here in Pakistan, the car scene is very different.

No One Is Discriminated.

You Hardly Find Ricers Here

No stanced cars, no useless widebodys or big wings. Everything is just fine!
The Diversity Is Epic

From Supras to Civics, we’ve got them all.
We've Got Proper Project Cars Here

There’s not just adding a cold air intake or throwing in a fart can here, there are proper tuners and racers. Rotaries, V8s, Turbos, All Motor 4 Bangers.
The Love For Rallying

People come from all over the country to see these special rally stage events like Jhal Magsi and Cholistan Rally events which take place anually and people prepare their rides for them all year round.
People Here Love JDM

These are usually 800-1000 Horsepower Evos, Supras and RX-7s.
Availability Of Parts

Yes, we don’t have international tuning houses here but we easily import whatever we need.
Our Love For Civics Is Unconditional

We don’t give a c*ap of what you think of them, we love our Civics. We don’t rice them, we build them with passion.
We're More Fond Of All-Motor Rather Than Forced Induction

Most race cars here are naturally aspirated because we believe in raw engine power, not forced induction.
Everyone Knows Each Other

Our country is not big. We are all familiar with all the good cars and their owners no matter if you both are on the different ends of the nation. It creates a sense of unity and brotherhood amongst Car-Guys.

Seems like a cool scene! Over here everyone puts huge exhausts under golf’s
Amazing! Recently I found a IG page from American car enthousiast in Iran. Great to see that passion for cars makes borders invincible
Are there any 60-70’s muscle cars actually? Anyways, superb article!

I enjoyed this, well done.
So much BS. I’ve been on and off visiting Pakistan for the last 4 years. The country is huge. There is tons of discrimination in terms of elitism, rich guys tend to hang out with rich guys, i.e. those with nice cars are in their own friend circles. There are thousands of ricers out there, people lack clean taste. But the occasional car show brings out a decent variation, from Beetles to GTR’s, which is nice. It’s also great to see poor car guys do their best to enjoy whatever they have.
What I’m most sursprised by is actually the old muscle cars, that’s a fun thing to see. Lots of old Benz and Beetles. I spotted an old Peugeot hatchback once, first and only French car I’ve ever seen.
the rice part is just not true .our rice has a hard time staying on our plates.
also, dumb stickers on everything .i mean everything .trucks,cars,rickshaws,buses.
Yes they do exist, corvettes, dodge an mustang are of ‘em!

Dear Pakistan, how come your are right next door on the map but your car market is leaps and bounds ahead of India ? …The most powerful car we can get here is the 145bhp Fiat Punto Abarth, and you guys are just chillin with your 700+bhp Supras and RX7s
