I agree. You see Macs costing over $3000 and only comes with a 1 year warranty, or 3 years if you buy the AppleCare warranty. These computers feels very good in your hands, and they will be fancy looking door stoppers when the graphics chip dies and you can’t buy new graphics chips anywhere.
People have always said that luxury cars are unreliable, but I often see W221 Mercedes S Class’s for sale with over 300k miles. It doesn’t matter if the massage function or the armrest heating no longer works, because most luxury cars are incredibly well engineered mechanically.
Truth!! I see Audis, MBs, BMWs, Porsches, and whatnot still running in perfect condition. Most of which are from 2010 and even prior to 2010. Even the latest german cars are decently reliable. Some say that euro cars are bound to break after 50k miles and those same people that said that are blinded by just very few bad experiences some people had with German cars. Euro cars prove those people wrong. Euro luxury cars’ resale values are pretty high too…

Basically they expect you to buy their newest product and pass down the old one in 3-4 years. And that is how it is because the people want that.
