The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo Forgot How To Car

The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo didn’t cover itself in glory when leaving last week’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. After a simple manoeuvre around a lawn, the concept car appears to run out of petrol and then proceeds to make a complete hash of driving up a small ramp into a trailer.

Despite having the capabilities to reach over 250mph, the predecessor to the Chiron can’t seem to ascend the smallest of inclines, with potentially some form of transmission failure at fault.

I was reading that it was due to the tricky DCT. One guy pointed out that if you don’t apply enough throttle it doesn’t engage the clutches but too much will make it drive through the truck

Ironically. it’s owned by the prince of Saudi Arabia… I’m surprised the plunge of the oil price and the country’s economy meant he couldn’t refuel it considering it was “expensive” to his wallet. LOL

I think it could be because the gearing was not meant to be used at an incline at low speed. Remember the AMG GT3s at Nürburgring 24H earlier this year when they’re about to leave the pit, I think it’s like that
