Though I’m thinking YES! The Audi won, my thoughts also can’t comfortably digest the fact that there is another whole cylinder and 500cc more in the RS, yet it won marginally. Mercedes appear to be going all out to produce the A45’s power while Audi are sitting “safe”. We’ve all seen RS3’s running mad power and that level of tune is absolutely the message the A45 sends. Reliability maybe an issue long term (who cares, the majority will be leased and parts replaced under warranty before it becomes a massive cost once Out of Warranty) but the result per amount of potential are a lot riskier in the A45. I’d buy the Audi, but I’d want the A45 too.
