This 500bhp V12 Quad Bike Is Now On Your Lottery List
Fancy a 500bhp quad bike? Want to barrel along listening to a V12 wail but finding a Lambo Aventador Roadster just too civilised? CarThrottle is here to help. Welcome to the Lazereth Wazuma. It might have a name like a Greek footballer, but this could just be the maddest vehicle on four wheels.
What's the spec? Well, it's basically an engine, and the bare minimum of parts required to send its power to the road, and carry a driver rider operator nutter. The Wazuma makes an Ariel Atom look as uncomplicated as Optimus Prime.
The engine is a 5.0-litre BMW V12. In normal trim it should output around 350bhp, but the Wazuma, like Koenigsegg, uses E85 bioethanol, upping power output to 500bhp. Bear in mind this thing weighs 400kg on the road and you've got a machine with a power-to-weight ratio 30% higher than a Bugatti Veyron.
Built specially to order by French custom outfit Lazereth, you'll pay €200,000 (£175k) for the right to have your arse roasted atop a monster engine, while your hands are frozen by the headwind and your neck gets whiplash from the power on tap. It's a pricey way to beat yourself up, but can you go faster for less?
