1996 Toyota Corolla Levin

This is my 1996 Toyota Corolla Levin (AE111). I have owned her for nearly four years now. When i purchased her she was mostly stock save for some terrible lowering springs and aftermarket wheels. We’ve had our ups and downs but I can’t see me getting rid of her anytime soon.

They’re not really all that well known outside of Japan. They get parted out for their engines a lot, loads of people drop the Blacktop 4AGE 20v into AE86’s. Its an awesome little engine, 1.6 N/A with ITB’s as standard and VVT, revs up to 8,750RPM and puts out about 165bhp in stock form.

Yeah i think if Toyota had stuck with the FR Layout then the AE111’s would have had a lot greater exposure. For a FF it handles stupidly well though.
