that doesent explain why you swaped the bmw engine for 2jz ? why not an S54 engine ? or if you were going to swap the drivetrain why did you buy an e46 and not something like an e30 ?

i’m assuming she bought an e46 because its newer, cheaper to get a good one, and better than the e30

You do know the e30 is a terrible driftcar? The wheelbase is to short so it gets weird bounces and in general isn’t a good car for the job. The e46 is a much better car and using the 2jz insted dosent matter to much mostly because Toyota looks over bmws shoulder when they made the engine, what they did was looking at I think it was the m50b30 and strapt 2 turbos on it so tada here’s your 2jz

The Chassis of the E46 is stronger and more lightweight than a E30 or E36 ever could be. And it looks more modern. Not everybody is into retro. Why the 2JZ instead of the S54? The 2JZ is kinda like a BMW engine. Toyota and BMW always worked closely together. The New BMW Z4 and the new GT86 are based on the same Platform. Toyota pays, BMW developes. The 2JZ is a turbo-ready engine which internals can stock handle about 800HP. A, M54/S54 would need completely new interiors if you want to do a serious turbo setup and want to go futher as like 0.5bar.

I didn’t know you could drift in the kitchen :v

Jokes apart it is nice to see that girls are also taking part in motorsport and I hope soon it’ll be a balanced sport with no sexism and gender domination. Hats off to your effort :)
