Where is the best place to spectate at Oulton Park?
Hi fellow petrolheads! I am going to Oulton Park to see British Superbikes on the 6th of September and was wondering where the best place to spectate is. I was thinking Hilltop would allow views of Denton’s, Cascades, Lakeside and Shell Oils Corner but I would really appreciate it if someone who has been to Oulton could shed some light. Any other information regarding ease of movement from different parts of the circuit for example from Old Hall Corner to Knickerbrook would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have never been there, but watched a lot of btcc over the years in this track. I know cars and bikes differ, so does their driving lines, but most action usually is around the Cascade and chicanes or Lodge corner. Shell Oils corner is where no overtaking or action happens, its difficult to overtake there, so not worth spectating I guess. I’d go somewhere around cascades.
having driven it a few weeks back i would go with turn 9 its nt the best track for spectators anyway given the elevations of the track but turn 9 should give you a view of the chicane and the hairpin with a nasty tyre block on the corner
