It’s not bad it’s just not as good of a track car like other sti’s and evo’s
What’s the reason for that? Thinking of getting a more practical car next but would also want to do a few track days.
…no, it isn’t bad at all. It’s just ugly… “Uglier than war wounds”
And the comparison test with the “rally enthusiasts” is not accurate. It can be attributed to Clarkson being Clarkson… May was not far off of the truth when he called Clarkson a baboon. This is why he’s funny…
Clarkson has a show to run. He has to make it funny or it will be less popular.
Fact is, WRX & STi are both good. Evo is just a touch better… And much better looking.
I figured as much. I own a 350 Z which he slated but personally think it’s a brilliant car so always take his opinion with a very large pinch of salt.
I had considered an Evo but my cousin owned an 8 and found it to be very expensive to run. I won’t be doing as many miles as him so the 6k service interval would fall around about the 1yr mark making it a possibility. Only issue is the inital expensive is a lot greater for an Evo compared to a Scooby of similar age and mileage.
