EFI Efficient fuel injection for an example my daihatsu has it. Its multi point but each injector is spraying at the same time.
MPI Multi point injection is what most volkswagens have
GDI Gasoline direct injection Mitsubishi’s direct injection engines
I believe that the MPI and GDI are only spraying the cilinder which needs fuel instead of the EFI spraying all at the same time.

Correct me if im wrong.

EFI is Electronic Fuel Injection, a blanket term covering pretty much all electronically-controlled injection. Any system with an ECU controlling your fuel distribution is EFI regardless of what marketing name the car maker uses or how that fuel is delivered.
