Title is misleading, it beat the lap record a GTR set way back in 2008 :/ I thought it beat one of the current models!
I see a GT-R with a 7.19 lap time… so, I’m assuming the lap times you are talking about are official lap times made by the brand… Not a fanboy by anymeans, just looking at facts… Still, what a great little car Honda has built, I want it so bad!
Proving that 4 cylinder cars can rival more expensive vehicles if tuned and designed correctly. Also the fact that this car is FWD also burns extremely hard on those two.

Eat that, GTR fanboys. If the Type R Civic is beating older models, the Type R NSX will stomp the GTR.
Irrelevant. Just because a pro driver can hack the ring faster than a supercar that doesn’t mean an average driver can do that too. Pretty impressive though.
