The Lexus GS400
The Regular Review:
This car is a silent sedan that slipped through the fabrics of the tuning scene. This particular car is the Lexus GS400 and was produced from 1997 to 2005. Marketing boasted that this was the fastest (Automatic) Sedan in the world in the 90’s. The Lexus GS400 (From 1998 - 2000) was equipped with a 4.0L 1UZ FE V8 while Models made from 2001 onward were built with a 4.3L 3UZ V8 putting out 300 HP (The same as the 1UZ) and 320 FT LB of torque (10 more than the 1UZ). This car was and still a fast, good handling (for a 90’s luxury car) and overall amazing car. You can almost fit a small civilization in the trunk and if anybody gets hurt enjoy the "Lexus Brand Band-Aids" That were included in the first aid kit.
The Tuner’s Review:
This car really slipped through people’s hands when it came to tuning. Swift Racing Technologies, L-Tuned and RMM made specific performance parts in the 90’s but the parts were made in limited production and because this car was still a Lexus parts prices were not very cheap. If you ask anybody about this car in the tuner scene many won’t answer you because they simply can’t, This was a forgotten car from the 90’s that needs to make a comeback.
The Overall Verdict:
This car looks and drives like a car that rolled off a 2015 assembly line, Beautiful lines and V8 Power… What else could you ask for? This car is truly a "Wicked" Car…

Interesting! Thank you for this.
My Pleasure Thank You For your feedback.
Forgot to include the Toyota Aristo
The Toyota Aristo is a 2nd Gen S160 Body style which was launched in Japan in August 1997. The Arsito included a 2JZ-GE while the V300 housed the 2JZ-GTE TT. This car is only offered with a 4 Speed Automatic Transmission compared to the 5 Speed Automatic Transmission in the Lexus GS400.
just swap in a Manual, and voila you have a drift car
Different style review, nice to see variety.
As for the car, its really likable in tuning scene these days (drifting, stancing), but as a car, I cant really like it. It feels like its desperately trying to be mercedes, but just isnt.
I understand the Mercedes thing but the "4 Headlights thing" was a big 90’s thing for all cars, Also thanks for the comment on the review I appreciate the feedback
The lexus gs lineup is my favorite lexus after the LFA and the RCF, it’s just beautiful and powerful, beats many German competitor’s in my opinion, and it every year it just become prettier
Great a gs buddie on ct:D
Yeah man, You ever gonna modify yours?
I’ll stary by maybe respraying hood, front and rear bumpers because the clear coat is pratically gone aha. Other than that I may convert all of my lights to leds and put bigger exhaust tips but I think it will stop there for now
Sick, Can’t wait to see the results
