I feel like killing myself. Failed my driving test for the second time :( Pretty depressing because cars are the only thing I'm passionate about + I have to pay 150 euro every time I fail :( I'm being srs which makes it even sadder...

You’ll pass them next time. Three times for luck.

Just don’t kill yourself…

I’m passionate about cars as well and I feel more pressure on me because of that

Took me three times, what they fail you on?

Blinkers the first time which is probably the most stupid reason to fail. Second time I went too fast into a junction, it was downhill :/

Welcome to CT. You’ll enjoy your stay.

Regarding driving tests, just be confident. Take your time during the setup (setting mirrors) etc. and then drive with courage. Double check with yourself in your inner mind, but… don’t show doubt.

In the end, you will get it. Stop early, it is better to be too far behind an intersection than too far into one… Look around your corners and look where you’re going. Mirror checks aren’t as important as you think. They’re still important, but not as important as your approach to forward driving…

It’s not over yet! Here’s a tip: Imagine you’re James May while driving.

Driven to Drive 1

Practice makes perfect! Before passing my test I drove my mom’s car to school every day, and practiced parking on the weekends. I passed my test with an 85%, but got points off for not yielding at roundabouts.

The trick to passing a driving test is doing what the instuctor thinks is good driving, even if it means having to drive like an old driver who does no more than 40 kph on the roads. Good luck with the test mate, because as far as i’m aware from what I have read, you shouldn’t have been failed.
