Yes totally Indian. There are more coming from our beloved country in the coming few months.
The Indian cousin of the Ktm Duke 200:D
The 200 NS sells really well here in Indonesia
Yes! This shares the lower engine block and the cooling system with the Duke 200.
Does the Indonesian model have fuel injection?
my neighbour even have 2
looks great.. is it good quality..? and how about the price..?
The engine and chassis are gems. At par with the japanese. But the plastics leave too much to be desired. There is much weight in places not required, like the clipon handlebars which weigh 5 kilos altogether. I’ve swapped them with a single piece bar though, that shaved off 4 kilos. There is a long list of mods on it btw. Price is 1 lakh INR, or approximately 2000 USD worth in India.
That’s actually really nice. How are these bikes not available over here in the UK? What are the prices like?
It’s worth around 1070 GBP in India. It’s more of a beginner’s bike, sort of like a base. You can easily mod it to use it as a pure streetfigher, an adventure bike, stunter, etc. It’s got a single cylinder, LC, SOHC, 4valve, carburetted engine, and the weirdest bit is that it’s got three spark plugs. All this means very low emissions and the smallest catcon ever used on a bike. It doesn’t meet the automotive standards of the UK for sure. It finds great sales in Indonesia, Columbia and a few other small countries under the Kawasaki ‘Rouser’ branding.
