To be honest, I’ve never heard of any “Brake master cylinder stoppers” before - until now. This video makes me want to check the amount of flexing in my -84 Volvo, and since I don’t have any ABS I have to push the pedal really hard to stop I can imagine that there’s a considerable amount of play in it. There’s a lot of things that can contribute to a spongy feeling brake pedal. Biggest thing is fluid. If your fluid is old and watery it will definitely make it a lot worse. Braided lines also make a difference when compared with rubber ones.
