Cafe racer project 1981 Yamaha XV750 Virago

Cafe Racer project.
1981 Yamaha Virago XV750SE.
Rebuild into a sleek “Cafe Racer” style bike.
According to the paperwork, bike was first registered in the US in 1981 where it drove for 10 year before being exported to the Netherlands in 1991. There the new owner drove it for a couple of years before neglecting it.
It hadn’t run in 4 year when I bought it and imported it to Belgium.
At that point it was a complete basket case, but perfect for what I had in mind with it.
This was my first project build and took about a year to complete.

Hey, I was wondering how you relocated the pedals, did u make it custom or swapped from another bike? Viragos have them closer to the front wheel

Thanks man, I bought a tarozzi rear set and they mount perfectly where the passenger footpegs were located. The linkage to the gearshifter and rear brake, I had to fabricate.
