The New Audi R8 Spyder And TT RS Have Been Caught Out In The Wild

The new TT RS and R8 Spyder have both been spotted undisguised at a petrol station in Granada, Spain

Here’s a double dose of Audi spy shot goodness for you. The two images above have been doing the rounds online today, showing the incoming Audi R8 Spyder and TT RS, both completely undisguised while filling up with fuel in Spain.

The drop-top R8 will have all the same oily bits as its coupe cousin and therefore the same power/torque figures, but the TT RS is more of an unknown entity. It’ll most likely run the same 2.5-litre turbocharged five-pot as the Audi RS3, but with how much power we’re not sure - the most recent batch of rumours have suggested anything up to 400bhp. Prototypes have also been spotted in the past with a manual gearbox, in contrast to the S Tronic-only RS3.

We’ll have to wait until the car’s full reveal - which should be in the coming months - for all the juicy details.

At first, when I saw the TTRS by itself, I thought it was an R8

Audi wants us to actually enjoy the design of the car rather than dressing it a horrendous camouflage

Dealership here has the new hardtop r8. Not allowed to drive it and it’s 1 of 2 in the United states only for show.

They look nasty. Especially the tt rs. The r8 is all flap shift now. Not fond of it

The TT looks way better… Which is shame as the old R8 had such a nice arse.

Usually i would ask you “what?!”, but yesterday, i saw a new black TT on the streets and without glasses i thought that it could be the new Mustang. When you hit the right angle and dont see the car from the very site of it, you may actually think they look similar.

That TT looks so good. Also, the r8 and TT lights are just flipped and bend the other way
