You Can Buy A Playmobil Porsche 911 Targa And It Looks Amazing

Producing officially licensed car sets is something Lego has gotten quite good at in recent years, and it looks like fellow toymaker Playmobil is going the same way.
It already makes a surprisingly accurate 911 Carrera S recreation, which has been followed up by this awesome Targa version.
It’s big enough to fit two full size ‘adult’ figures in the front and two ‘child’ figures in the back, and even comes with a little mock showroom setup. If desired, you can remove the Targa roof. It doesn’t retract electrically like the real thing, I’m afraid…

We’re not sure it’s the brand new product it’s reported to be in various media outlets (the Internet has become particularly excited about this little Targa), since it’s apparently been available on Amazon UK since February 2016. Perhaps this week is the US debut - we’re not sure. But who cares: it’s not something we’ve seen before, and it looks like a great set.
It costs £29.99 in the UK, and $44.99 in the US.
