A 210bhp Toyota Yaris Hot Hatch Is Officially Happening

Just before Christmas, Toyota announced it was cooking up something special for 2017: a spicy version of the Yaris. And now we know a little more.
We really mean a little. But of the smattering of details revealed this week, one piece of info is particularly significant: Toyota is saying its new hot hatch will kick out 210bhp. That’s more than the VW Polo GTI and Vauxhall Corsa VXR, a little lower than the Clio RS220 and more than the Ford Fiesta ST. Well, before the Fiesta’s overboost kicks in. Yo.

210bhp in a little Yaris - which according to Toyota will be infused with know-how from its WRC effort - should make for a potent car. We won’t have to wait long to see it either, with the go-faster Yaris receiving its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
At the same time, the whole Yaris range will be updated, with new styling, a nicer interior and a “raft of technical modifications” to give better ride and handling.

VVT JUST KICKED IN YO!!!
How much you wanna bet it doesn’t come to America?
Ugly little thing though isn’t it?
Honestly, if it were a metallic white without the graphics, it would be a sharp little thing
Better come with a proper manual too :D
Finally, first exiting car Toyota made since GT86 was released
I’ll sure hope it’s awd like the old gt-four.
It looks like itll compete with the Fiat 500. That would be a better rival.
