Yes, This Is Actually The Next Toyota Supra

Prepare to freak out: the (very) long awaited Supra successor has been spotted in the wild!

With all the rumours flying around, the FT-1 concept which is now becoming a distant memory and the knowledge that it’s flipping ages since the Mk4 went out of production, we can finally get our first look at the next Toyota Supra. The camo’d car you see here - spotted undergoing testing - is almost certainly it, and we’re losing our minds just a little bit.

Who can tell us what car this is? Hint: Everyone's been waiting a loooong time for this one 👇🏼

The shape is clearly shared with the stunning FT-1 concept, though we won’t know for sure how much it’s been diluted until some of that camo is shed.

As far as what powers the car - developed in a collaboration with BMW that’ll also spawn the new Z5 - the speculation seems to change from week to week. Some reports have suggested the engines in both the Z5 and the Supra will be the work of BMW, while others point toward a twin-turbo Lexus V6 in Toyota’s end of the deal. Whatever happens, a hybrid powertrain seems likely.

Although it’s hard to tell exactly what it looks like through the camo, what do you think of the long-awaited Supra replacement?

I’m gonna get so much hate for this, but a MX-5 and a ferrati Berlinetta should not have went to bed for his one. Hopefully it looks better without the camp

I’m so glad Toyota partnered up with BMW for this project because it shows awesome potential for a kickass I6 to be the powerplant

You guys realize it could be different bumpers for street use? They did that with the C7, and then when they actually released it, they used production body parts. The car you see now is an ugly mule to test the suspension and drive terrain
