The World's Coolest Taxi Driver Has A Ford Focus RS As His Work Wheels
Over 18 months, Norwegian taxi driver Evald Jåstad has clocked nearly 80,000 miles in his Focus RS
If you’re a taxi driver, ideally you want a car that’s roomy and frugal. Something like a five-year-old Skoda Superb, perhaps. Evald Jåstad is no ordinary taxi driver though, as he has a Ford Focus RS as his work wheels. And in 18 months, he’s clocked a heroic 78,000 miles. Presumably free of any head gasket issues…
His stomping ground is the town of Odda, Norway and its stunning surroundings, where locals have taken to calling the RS ‘Blue Lightning’. He lives locally with his wife and two kids, and his young son clearly loves riding in his dad’s unconventional cab.
Looks like a pretty sweet life to us…

Sweeet
Got nothing on this though
Taxi 5 is coming out 11.4 :D
Not being funny but how is it unconventional, it obviously earns its stay otherwise would have it and a standard focus can be a taxi so why not a faster sporty version? If you modified your crown vic taxi with a v8 that’s not unconventional.
Crown Vics have V8s from the factory ya dingus
A sport car used as a taxi is unconventional. Especially with a distinct aero.
Maybe you just dont know what unconventional means
Let me help you:
“unconventional
ʌnkənˈvɛnʃ(ə)n(ə)l
adjective
not based on or conforming to what is generally done or believed.”
In other words, if it was not unconventional most taxis would be sports cars or the sportiest verson of the car model. But since they aren’t, its by definition unconventional
When i will go to Norway, i will daily give him a call and let me sit and go to my workplace. (in the distant future)
