Woman Gets Head Stuck In Exhaust Pipe, Goes Viral

A 19-year-old in Minnesota had to be cut free from a Chevrolet Silverado's exhaust after getting her head stuck

How much alcohol does it take to get your head stuck in a diesel pickups exhaust tip?Who knows this girl? I have got to hear her side of the story.

You might have heard of the ‘fist test’ beloved of CT’s video chief Alex Kersten. The idea is pretty simple: if a car’s exhaust pipe is big enough to fit a fist in it, it wins Internet points.

It turns out there’s a more extreme version we haven’t even thought of. But it’s not without its perils, as discovered by 19-year-old Kaitlyn Strom. While attending the Winstock Country Music Festival in Winsted, Minnesota - and we’re assuming drinking quite a lot - Strom saw a Chevrolet Silverado’s oversized exhaust pipe and seized the opportunity.

“We were just all having fun and I saw this big exhaust pipe and I was like, ‘Hey, my head could probably fit in that…so I tried it. It did fit, but it didn’t want to come back out,” she told the Hutchinson Leader. The fire department had to cut her free, with Strom stuck for an estimated 45 minutes in total.

Ladies and gentlemen! Step right up and see the most famous tailpipe in Minnesota, quite possibly the world! We here...

Tom Wold, the owner of the vehicle, “was wonderful” about the whole thing, Strom said. He’s since lent the exhaust can in question to a local bar, where it’s currently on display and billed as “the most famous tailpipe in Minnesota, quite possibly the world!”

The teenager was cited for underage drinking, McLeod County Sheriff confirmed to the press. A five second video showing efforts to extract her from the pipe has gone viral - at the time of writing, it’s on 2.6 million views…

I don’t think this is what the owner had in mind when he said he needed a new header…

For future, they should place a sign “nothing to see here…” on top.
