In many ways it's just cruel to pit the mountain of mass and torque that is the Tesla Model X against an ordinary muscle car, but don't let that stop you watching
In what has to be one of the most predictable but still fascinating (ahem) drag races ever staged, two buddies decided to have a tug of war between their Chevrolet Camaro with a small block 350 engine… and a Tesla Model X.
It’s a bit like putting a baby sloth into a fight with a territorial male Silverback Gorilla. Like dropping Nemo into a small tank with a hungry piranha. There was only ever going to be one winner, but the way the Model X takes the strain effortlessly and then simply walks away with it is something.
We know the Model X is damn fast. Of course, as soon as one car starts spinning its wheels in these battles, it’s game over, but the Camaro… well, it never had the slightest chance. Brutal.

The only thing muscular about third-gen Camaros is literally the engine sound and the name. This test is completely invalid.
Put it up against an Evo, WRX or a Quattro and we’ll see what happens
It’d still win. We’re talking less lower and weight. Even though they’re all AWD (inb4 4WD is not the same as AWD), they don’t have the torque to match.
So isnt it a muscle car because it’s made in the U.S.
But that old Camero is so under powered. How is that even fair!
Its torque required in a race like this not power.
If they tried doing this 2 times in a row, the Tesla would overheat.

Really its lighter than the model x and way wayyyy skinnier tires and its atleast 30 years old really and i love my 3 gen camaro i have over 900 whp but it takes time its still a great car shity comparison
