Being a bunch of speed freaks, the detail about the new ‘G30’ 5-series we like the most is the fact the M550i is actually quicker from 0-62mph than the outgoing M5. Hell, it’s even faster than the M5 Competition Pack on the benchmark sprint.
It hits 0-62mph in four second flat thanks to a 455bhp twin-turbo V8 and all-wheel drive traction off the line. And as we can now see thanks to this video, that initial acceleration looks damn impressive in the real world.

Thats funny how the marketing people are playing around with you. The f10 550i was aviable for so long and no one was interested. Add the M performance badge, give extra 12hp and the hype gets real.
