The Virage Shooting Brake Zagato Is A Striking Aston Martin You Can't Buy
Italian coachbuilder Zagato has unveiled its latest one-off project, based on the V12 Aston Martin Virage
If the Lagonda saloon has whet your appetite for Astons you probably can’t buy, check out this rakish beast: the Virage Shooting Brake Zagato. This is one you definitely won’t be able to purchase, as it’s a one-off, built by the Italian coachbuilders for a (no doubt very rich) European customer.
Underneath, everything is as-per the regular Virage, which means Aston Martin’s VH platform with a 6.0-litre V12 producing 490bhp mounted in the front, powering the rear wheels.
Like the Lamborghini 5-95 - also a one-off project - and many other Zagato-styled cars, it has striking looks which will divide opinion. Zagato says the car’s design takes inspiration from the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and Volante from the 80s.
What do you think of it?
