Vin Diesel Says Fast & Furious 7 Will Be Released In April 2015

Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel posted this image with Paul Walker on his Facebook page this morning. Below, he confirmed that Fast & Furious 7 will be released on April 10th, 2015.

The accompanying text says that this was "the last scene we filmed together... there was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared... in the film we were now completing... the magic captured... and, in just how far we've come..."

Paul Walker and friend Roger Rodas tragically lost their lives on November 30th 2013 when the Porsche Carrera GT they were travelling in lost control and burst into flames. They had just left a fundraising event for Walker's charity Reach Out WorldWide.

As fans mourned his death, coming together to remember the star and support his charity, investigators worked hard to determine the cause of the crash. Although no official announcement has been made, a source has reported that the cause was "speed, and speed alone."

Walker and Rodas's status as a true petrolheads was confirmed after it was revealed that this video by The Smoking Tire was actually recorded at the warehouse that stores their car collection.

At the time of his death, Walker was filming Fast & Furious 7, which is where the top photo was taken. It had been confirmed that F&F7 would be delayed, rather than cancelled, but this is the first time a new date has been put forward.
