These Camo'd Aston Martin DB11s Are Running AMG V8s
Aston Martin's DB11 will soon come with a V8 option courtesy of Mercedes-AMG. Here's your first chance to hear it in action...
While the new 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 in the DB11 is all the work of Aston Martin, the V8 that’s expected to join the range is sourced from Mercedes-AMG. It’s the 4.0-litre twin-turbo ‘hot V’ unit currently doing service in the C63 and AMG GT, and we can expect it to appear in the successor to the current Aston Martin Vantage too.

If I’d wanted a V8 Aston Martin, I’d have gotten a V8 Vantage instead! I know it’s old and all but still my fav 😊

Hope they do a better power/weight ratio compared to the C63. Otherwise the Merc is a much better value proposition.
