These Camo'd Aston Martin DB11s Are Running AMG V8s
Aston Martin's DB11 will soon come with a V8 option courtesy of Mercedes-AMG. Here's your first chance to hear it in action...
While the new 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 in the DB11 is all the work of Aston Martin, the V8 that’s expected to join the range is sourced from Mercedes-AMG. It’s the 4.0-litre twin-turbo ‘hot V’ unit currently doing service in the C63 and AMG GT, and we can expect it to appear in the successor to the current Aston Martin Vantage too.

Love the idea of the new V8 Vantage. It will essentially be the heart of the AMG GTS with the body that will surely be stunning!
Usually when British royalty wants to disguise their German origins, they just use the name Windsor. But in this case I think we might have a problem…🤔
They could be mule cars for the new vantage, just a thought.

I don’t think they’ll ever sell a V8 db11, this’ll be a test bed for the V8 of the next Vantage I think/hope
It’s good. Just as long as Aston Martin put their own exhaust tuning on it. Don’t think the AMG sounds Aston enough!
