Tesla Is Halting Model 3 Production Yet Again To Fix Problems

Tesla is halting Model 3 production yet again to try to tackle problems along the assembly line, it has emerged.

Starting today, Tesla is stopping the line for up to five days to remedy the problems that are still keeping production at a relative snail’s pace. It comes just a couple of weeks after the line hit a 2000-car weekly output for the first time.

Tesla Is Halting Model 3 Production Yet Again To Fix Problems

Tesla still wants to be building 5000 cars every week by the end of June, and rates the latest factory halt as essential to achieving that. Workers, who were recently offered overtime to help ramp-up Model 3 build rates, will stay at home without pay or use paid holiday. A small number have been retained in the Fremont building on other work.

This news will not help Tesla’s rumoured cash-burning status, or do much to ease the criticism over shoddy build quality. Perhaps this time the engineers will finally get it right… or perhaps not. It surely has to happen eventually.

Apple, the most overpriced, the most dℹckish to independent repair companies, the most dℹck to its own customers company deliver quality products? Good one mate, wanna know what’s the truth:apple produces nothing, steals technology and claims it as their own(the technology equivalent of Mercedes claiming to have invented the airbag), produces unrepairable, unupgradeable products with a literal metric fuccton of weaknesses, offer subpar performance for way more than their competitors, and the one thing that they do that is worthy of praise is their beautiful design and their easy to use products

I’ve heard they are losing like, what, ~8000$ per hour/day? Or maybe my friend hates Tesla way too much and made that up xD

Tesla seem to think they can build a mainstream electric car packed with technology, delivering good performance and not costing too much. That’s utterly ridiculous to expect from a new company, and it’ll bankrupt them. Elon needs to get his head down out of orbit and focus on more achievable things. What the heck was wrong with making a reasonably lightweight $100k electric sports car?

Never really been a big fan of the Tesla model 3. But now it just looks like it was overhyped, cheaply built and unreliable
