A turbocharged Chevrolet suffered a transmission explosion followed by a scary fuel fire at the Showtime Dragstrip in Clearwater, Florida
According to the YouTube video description, the driver escaped with injuries only to his foot. While the explosion itself is horrifying, it’s great to see the strip’s staff react so promptly and professionally to the incident.
The uploader has pledged to donate all ad revenue from the video to the driver, to help him get his car back together and back on the strip.
