Lexus introduced the CT 200h F-Sport variant at the show and now Mercedes-Benz is debuting a special "concept" model of the C63 AMG, dubbed the Concept 358.
The 358 moniker is derived from the engine's power output in KW. The boosted 6.2L V-8 engine makes 480 horsepower. The car was designed by Mercedes-Benz Australia and built by the company's AMG performance unit.
The AMG Performance Package it is equipped with updates the car's look nicely .
The biggest differentiator would no doubt have to be the car's color. And different is is - Mercedes says it is the only C63 AMG in the world to be painted in the striking color, dubbed Pearl Orange.
The car also get a unique set of 19-inch multi spoke alloy wheels finished in black, KEYLESS-GO and Designo leather accents in the interior. A startling fact about Australia is that it is the fifth-largest AMG market in the world.
That is in spite of population of the country standing at only around 21 million people. Got to love the Aussies and their desire for performance vehicles!
