The Spectacular Dubai Roadster Is A 400bhp Road Racer We Hope Gets Made
This is the Dubai Roadster, a 400bhp rival for the KTM X-Bow and BAC Mono. Interestingly, this awesome-looking sports car will have a tubular titanium chassis for low weight, with a combination of fibreglass and carbonfibre panels.
As with pretty much every startup car that’s ever been produced, the Roadster is packing a V8 which is almost inevitably a GM LS model. Although the car only exists as a render, the UAE-based team expect a fairly optimistic 0-62mph time of 3.5 seconds.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Roadster ever makes it to production. With 25 models hoped to be finished in time for the Dubai Motor Show next year, and with orders already coming in, the team had better get a move on.
If you fancy one for yourself, it’ll set you back about £63k ($108k).
