In the comments section of this YouTube video, the driver mentioned that the manufacturer of the offending wheels - Forgestar - has since been in touch to offer a full refund and buy him a replacement balljoint. The company has also said it’ll analyse the surviving wheels.

The moral of this story? If you’re doing regular track days, it’s worth keeping a close eye on your rims…

People Just have to remember that cosmetic aftermarket wheels designed for street use on passenger cars are not necessarily up to the Motorsport standard to fatigue. Thus meaning if you intend on tracking your car, buy some proper track wheels and tyres to save yourself from these situations.
