Brace for weirdness, because this oneās a doozy. We join the action as a heavily-bearded man on an illegally-loaded Honda moped is being surrounded by an angry mob.
The action takes place in the Cornish town of St Ives, which is packed with people at the time. According to the poster of the video, Jake Swordy, the bearded man had repeatedly lost control of the moped, damaged a brand new BMW M4 and Audi Q7, and then tried to run several people down on his way through an apparently pedestrianised part of town.

The moustachioed man in the yellow and white shirt claims to have been hit, and wants the riderās details - and the latter is legally obliged to give them. The rider tries to ride through him and the crowd reacts angrily, with people taking both sides and one woman claiming that the rider is homeless and should be left alone. Weāre not sure the owners of the M4 and Q7 would agree with that.
Over three-and-a-half minutes of increasingly bizarre footage, the rider repeatedly tries to make his escape, various people try to stop him and he manages to fall off several times, sometimes because he was pushed, and other times because heās unable to control the moped. It might be the unbalanced load heās carrying, or he might be drunk, for all we know.
Eventually he escapes up an alley, nearly wiping-out an innocent woman who was looking the other way. If he is homeless, itās unlikely the bike is insured, taxed or MOTād, and thereās no way people would get any money out of him, but the victims here have a right to see him put through the courts.

The M4 and Q7 didnāt deserve that faith.
Gotta go fast.
This is gold haha 😂
Thatās bad and all but who films vertically?!?
Teaser for Johnny English 3
If this would have happened in indai, people wouldnāt be asking him for insurance at this point. He would have been beaten very badly for running over people or damaging cars
How proud I am to be British 🇬🇧🇬🇧
It is taxed and motād. Seems like the fella needs help. He shouldnāt have done what he did but doesnāt seem like heās in the best mental health. Easy to check mot and tax status on government website
I feel sorry for the bike. And a bit for the guy. And the woman, and the cars. For all.
Those people should have let him go and just called the police, then heād be dealing with a hit and run charge which would have forced the police to go after him whole heartedly using the perfect evidence in this video. Loads of people surrounding him was never going to help, quite a nasty situation really.
