This Massive Cruise Ship Will Have The First Ever Go Kart Track At Sea
The Norwegian Joy is a £640 million cruise ship which - when launched - will have the first ever race track at sea

If you haven’t been fussed by the idea of going on a cruise before, here’s something that might change your mind. Built specifically for the Chinese market, the Norwegian Joy will be able to carry up to 3900 passengers, but most interestingly for us, it has a frigging go kart track onboard.
When the ship launches summer next year, it’ll have what Norwegian Cruise Liners claims will be the ‘first ever race track at sea’. It’s an open air track with eight corners over two levels, and what looks like a rather hefty catch fence. Which given the track’s top deck location, makes a great deal of sense.
Oh, and if you get bored of go karting, there are also some ‘hovercraft bumper cars’ to enjoy.

“Just 10 laps to go! Hamilton and Rosberg are side by side. Oh no, Hamilton is slowing down, there must be a problem with the car! He has pulled off the track. No, it’s not the car, I think he’s sea sick!”
