The Lamborghini Centenario Looks Completely Bonkers On The Road

The £1.64 million Centenario looked mad enough at the glitzy Geneva motor show, but as this example is spotted leaving Lamborghini's Sant'Agata factory and heading out onto the road with 'normal' cars, it looks all the more crazy!

Based on the Aventador platform, just 40 Centenarios (20 roadsters and 20 coupes) will be built. Power from the familiar 6.5-litre V12 may have only been modestly increased at 759bhp up from 740bhp, but the more important changes here involve the body - the car has been designed to channel as much air as possible through its bodywork, effectively making it ‘permeable’. And as a bonus, this makes it look completely nuts…

Incoming comments of how spending nearly 2 million on a hypercar makes no sense when you can get a Supra for 60 grand and how [insert another supercar] is such a better deal.

It’s gonna look even more awesome drifting across sand-swept Australian beaches with an Ariel Nomad hot on its tail.

I have a doubt: Is it called “Centenario” like in spanish? or is it pronounced “Chentenario” like in italian. I’m asking because most of Lamborghini models are named with spanish words.
