Koenigsegg Just Wrote An Awesome Middle Finger To The Hypercar Holy Trinity

With everyone salivating over recent LaFerrari vs. McLaren P1 vs. Porsche 918 Spyder triple tests, Koenigsegg has asked why it's not involved using impressive statistics
Koenigsegg Just Wrote An Awesome Middle Finger To The Hypercar Holy Trinity

It’s easy to see why everyone’s getting excited about the Holy Trinity of hypercars being brought together. Here we have the most exclusive cars on Earth made by three of the greatest manufacturers around. They provide an awesome snapshot of where the pinnacle of the automotive world is right now, but there’s one manufacturer that reckons they don’t provide the whole story.

Koenigsegg has just written a brilliant blog post, in which it applauds the efforts of Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche, but wants to let any concerned customers know that its cars are actually faster.

By taking official manufacturer statistics for the 0-186mph (0-300kph) run, Koenigsegg wants it to be known that the One:1 is more than three seconds faster than the LaFerrari, the fastest Holy Trinty car, to that magic number. In fact, it had already managed to undercut the Italian hypercar’s sprint time in 2011 with the Agera R.

While the reason Koenigsegg is probably overlooked is because the Holy Trinity were all constructed at around the same time to provide direct competition to each other, Koenigsegg makes a fair point: it was already making cars like this years ago.

Koenigsegg should invite them for a test where each manufacture brings their car prepared so they can see what they can actually achieve, but I bet Ferrari will be sacred of it.

The title of this should be changed. The Koenigsegg writer was as polite as possible and gave credit to the Trinity manufacturers for building amazing cars. They simply wanted put their customers minds at ease.

Nanahira is my Waifu

I love Koenigsegg, they don’t ever say anything about their cars and all of a sudden there’s 10 different Koenigsegg models in the market.

The holy trinity is dreading the day the Regera becomes real because it will annihilate everything that they have worked for.

They can’t test Koenigseggs against the others. It would be like pitting a champion fighter against an accountant.

Koenigsegg made a very great move on investing on such car, because its not a classic model brand, like: Lambo, Ferrari, Porsche or McLaren, but the One:1 is one of the most beautiful cars i’ve ever seen and to me its the fastest, Bugatti made a smart move on the way the engine was built, made it compact and with light materials, but it weighs a lot more and the head start would be for the One:1, but the classic brands also invest on interior and less exterior, more a fashion car and luxury then a fast one, but Koenigsegg invested on both, got the best parts and the best ways on applying the carbon fiber and the best engine the money could buy, make the holy trinity shake off the bases !!!
