This Jaguar F-Type Rental's Engine Exploded On The Motorway
All that remains of this near-new Jaguar F-Type rental car is its skeleton and rear-end. The cause of this destruction is believed to have been an explosion under the sports car's beautiful bonnet
Last Monday (1st September), a 26-year old driver and his 25-year old passenger were driving an almost new Jaguar F-Type rental on a motorway in Germany. During their journey, the pair heard an explosion from underneath the bonnet, after which flames were seen coming from the engine bay.
With the rental car quickly pulled over at the side of the road, the F-Type was engulfed in flames and the fire brigade alerted. As you can see from the video above, however, the fire brigade arrived too late to save the car from complete ruin.
