With the gaming market full of high-quality games like Project Cars and Forza Horizon 3, Sony is looking to up its game with the new Gran Turismo Sport. As a sneak peak, they’ve released 78 teaser images of in-game footage and from what we can see, they’ve done a cracking job.

The game will feature a 140-car library to choose from, including real racing cars as well as stock, original vehicles to take on old and new tracks from around the world. The LaFerrari, ‘15 Mazda MX-5, Mercedes AMG GT-S and the ‘15 Ford Mustang GT Premium Fastback will be at your fingertips, along with ‘dream model GT3s’ so your favourite car can be translated into its motorsport cousin.

Forza is a full game, whereas this iteration of gran turismo isn’t! GT sport will be very similar to the concept of GT 5 Prologue; being a smaller game with less cars, tracks and limited tuning, thus this isn’t a fair comparison. It would be much better to compare the finished product (GT 7) with a forza title (preferably forza Motorsport - not horizon)

Still the fact that Logitech (or Sony) won’t allow G27 wheel compatibility on PS4 is a bummer.

I wouldn’t count on Porsches, as it seems only Microsoft’s pockets are that deep, but yeah, some recent RUFs would be nice…

Playstation exclusives have always been some of the most graphically BEAUTIFUL pieces of software ever made. This looks fantastic and I can’t wait to play this.
