Ian Poulter Receives Tailor Made Ferrari FF At Pebble Beach
British golfer Ian Poulter took this battle one step further with the ultimate in one upmanship; the first "tailor made" Ferrari across the pond.
This is his new Ferrari FF. It's the same underneath as all the 'standard' £227,000 one with a naturally aspirated 6.3-litre V12 sending 651hp to all four wheels. That means a 0-62mph time of 3.7 seconds and with the pedal flat on the floor it will climb to a top speed of 208mph.
It's the exterior and interior that are exclusive. Outside the car has three layers of 'Sabbia' paint and the optional forged alloys whilst on the inside there's black Poltrona Frau leather, carbon fibre inserts and tartan that matches Poulter's wacky trousers on the seats and the roof.
Ferrari didn't send out just any of their dealer managers to hand over the keys. Instead, CEO Amedeo Felisa flew over and welcomed him to his new prancing horse at Pebble Beach. That's customer service for the win!
