That’s… nothing special. Other manufacturers just call it “anti-corrosion” or “corrosion protection”. My Mustang is covered for 12 years - change of ownership doesn’t affect it. Not sure if it comes as standard on every new car in the USA, but in the EU you’d be hard pressed to find a car that doesn’t come with corrosion protection.
