Here's Your First Glimpse Of The 2017 Nissan GT-R

It hasn't had its proper reveal just yet, but someone has snagged an image of the facelifted GT-R at the New York Auto Show

We may still be a little preoccupied with pondering what the R36 GT-R might be like, but the R35 will be with us for a while yet, and it’s just had an update. As we can see from this photo - which has been doing the rounds online ahead of the car’s proper debut in New York - changes to the 2017 GT-R are subtle but reasonably effective.

We have new air intakes either side of the front bumper, what looks like a new splitter, and a revised central intake section. The car will have its full reveal later today, but for now, what do you think of the revised R35?

Looks like the R35 is running on its last legs.. I mean it still looks great and performs well, but its time for a new generation #R36Hype

Same with you. It’s amazing really that after 10 years it can still catch up with modern supercars but its just getting dated (the interior is reallly dated tho)

The only gripe I had with the R35 is that the styling is just very similar to the 350/370z. I Hope they go back to the sedan-ish vibe the 32-34 had

I’m really stoked for the R36, whatever it may be. Almost like 8 or 9 years later the R35 still competes Nismo or not, and the R36 I think will be on another level.

I agree. Also a new Z is overdue. The 370z is pretty amazing but it’s time for a new, better, and faster one.

It looks like they are sort of hinting towards the first GTR R35 PROTOTYPE

I had to squint to see the difference, how has a model gone almost 10 years without change

Maybe only “Japanese” manufacturers can see the difference because their “squinty eyed” lol
