Here's What The £1.64m Lamborghini Centenario Will Look Like

In the last few years Lamborghini has developed a habit of cutting up Aventadors to create a special stand-alone models, and upping the price massively. In 2012 we received the Aventador J, a year later the completely bonkers Veneno, and for 2016 we now have the Centenario. We’d previously seen leaked patent images of this ‘new’ supercar, but thanks to this image, we’re able to get a good idea of how the beast will look.

It was previously reported to be a real picture, but is actually a rendering based on the patent images (see below). The £1.64 million supercar will make its official debut at this week’s Geneva motor show, but now we have a clear idea of what to expect. The car looks like a hyper-stylised version of the Huracan, but if you peel back the new bodywork, you’ll find that it is in fact based upon its bigger V12 brother.

Every panel has been redesigned, with the standout additions being the insane front and rear splitters, three central exhausts and gaping rear air intakes. Certain Lamborghini trademarks remain, such as the distinctive chevron motifs which are incorporated into a full-width rear light bar, and the blacked out roof and glass rear windscreen are also instantly recognisable. A lightly breathed upon version of the 6.5-litre V12 Aventador engine will be used, with power reportedly upped from 690bhp to 759bhp, making it one rapid naturally-aspirated machine.

More specific information has yet to be released, so we will have to wait until the car makes its debut later this week for all the juicy details. Only 40 Centenario models will be made - 20 coupes and 20 convertibles - and all have already been spoken for.

Well, Jeremy Clarkson once said “whoever designs a Lamborghini should drink 2 bottles of absinthe before doing so”.

Just you wait until the Centenario SV. It will have such a big wang the downforce will actually push the Earth a little out of its orbit every time you go over 200mph.

No ‘KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!’ -comments… disappointed. Though it very well might be slightly less hideous than the Veneno or Egoista.

Veneno was truly beautiful, I think most would agree. However, you are entitled to your own opinion, this, I think, is how a Lamborghini should be, they’ve moved away from the curvy stage and got on to the edged spacecraft path.

I can’t really describe how I feel about this however…
