Here's The Mercedes-AMG GT4 Making Its Voice Heard At The 'Ring
A heavily disguised test mule for the incoming four-door AMG GT has been spotted lapping the Nurburgring
This week, we’re bringing you a double dose of shouty AMG-ness from the Nurburgring. Following on from footage of what may or may not have been a Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series tearing around the Nordschleife, we have this early look at the four-door version of the AMG GT, shot by YouTuber Automotive Mike.
Previewed by a concept revealed at the Geneva Motor Show, the ‘GT4’ is expected to be based on the E-Class rather than the AMG GT, although it will have styling cues taken from the coupe.
It’ll also be powered by the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, and should arrive at some point in 2018.
Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.
