Here's How Hot A Lexus LC F Could Look

As with any major new car reveal, the new Lexus LC 500 has already put the internet’s car renderers into action. The one we’re looking at is by X-Tomi Design, and it imagines an ‘LC F’ (see above, and see below for his LC cabriolet render). And we have to say, the LC does look rather dapper with some sporting addendum. But will an LC F ever happen?

At this stage, it’s difficult to know. The LC 500 already has the same 5.0-litre naturally-aspirated V8 as the RC F and GS F, so what might power such a car? If an LC F was created, maybe turbochargers might enter the mix.

There’s also the question of whether or not the LC is really intended to be an out-and-out sports car. A prototype version impressed Motor Trend’s Randy Pobst on track, but if you look at the size of the car and the focus on luxury, it looks to be aiming more at cars like the BMW 6-series rather than the Porsche 911.

Then again, the 6-series being a waft-mobile as standard didn’t stop M Division from turning it into a 552bhp monster, so who knows - perhaps Lexus fancies pulling off the same trick with the LC.
