The Grand Tour’s replacement of the Stig is already becoming seriously dull. There’s only so many jokes you can make about how Non-US cross-plane V8’s suck before one gets bored. The american seems to be placed into the show by Amazon to simply sate Americas narcissism. I’m sure the trio could have thought of something better. Besides, a fat, narrow-minded american is out of place in a car show run by brits that goes to different locations around the world each week…. D:
It seems like a missed opportunity to have a “local” racing driver from each location (with a stereotypical mask) making stereotypical remarks. This would have kept the driver interesting for more than just 5 minutes into the first episode.
It was actually the first episode they recorded, so that could explain the…quality.
the vulcan on it’s lap, when it starts off sounds like it should be in star wars with that noise
Good but VERY scripted in my opinion. I have faith though that it will get better
