Last weekend’s Silverstone Classic has been marred with tragedy following the death of a driver. Denis Welch was driving car number 19 in the Pre-66 Grand Prix Cars race on Sunday when he was involved in a serious accident. He was taken to the circuit’s medical centre, but sadly succumbed to his injuries. The race’s organisers have issued a statement, stating that they will cooperate fully with investigations from the police and the Motor Sports Association (MSA).
