Doge NASCAR Is Nearly Here, And It's Time To Vote For Your Favourite Livery

Not long ago we found out that the efforts to run a Doge-liveried NASCAR machine funded purely with the Dogecoin cryptocurrency were indeed successful. Now, Doge fans the world over have been given three liveries to choose from, which can be voted for here. Such wow.

It all seems like the sort of dream you'd have after eating too much cheese close to bed time, but this is actually going ahead. Phil Parsons Racing driver Josh Wise was in need of sponsorship in order to take part in the Aaron's 499 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway, and one of the stranger corners of the internet responded to his plight.

Members of the Dogecoin Subreddit put up the cash to sponsor Wise's car, raising over 67 million Dogecoin, the equivalent of $55,000 (£33,100). The car will be on track on 4th May.
